Mounted Shooting – Equestrian sport
Mounted Shooting, combining the skills of barrel racing, pole bending, and reining with elements of a wild west show exhibition shooting with two .45 caliber single-action revolvers and black powder blanks. Wow, that’s a mouth full! Mounted shooting is a sport where the competitor shoots ten balloon targets while riding through one of the 70+ challenging courses/ patterns. This is a timed sport in which the competitor who rides the fastest with the least amount of missed targets wins!
