Bucket lists – Making dreams a reality. What exactly is a bucket list? Simply put it is a collection of goals, dreams, and aspirations that you would like to accomplish within your lifetime. How big is your bucket list? Every time you cross a bucket list item off do you add two more? Today’s podcast asks those very questions. Ute and Heather share some of their bucket list accomplishments and they discuss a few travel destinations they want to visit and well as some new skills they want to try.
Bucket Lists – Destinations
Most people have bucket lists with lots of items on them, horse gals have lists of where are we going to rise horses and what new horsey skill can I learn. Ute has chosen Morroco as the next destination she wants to check off her bucket list, perhaps a gallop in the desert is on her list too. Heather has picked Iceland as her next place to check off her bucket list. Riding the Icelandic horses and see all the waterfalls and northern lights as items on her list.
Bucket Lists – New Skills
This past year of lockdowns has given everyone lots of time to think about new things they want to try. I’m sure that bucket list has grown a lot in the past 15 months. Ute has picked a couple of new skills from her list to accomplish this year. The first being is trying carriage driving, she is going to look for a clinic and or opportunity to give it a try. the next item she would like to check off is learning proper barefoot trimming techniques. All great skills to have to be a horsey gal. Heather has always wanted to learn how to throw a rope properly. She is planning on getting some lessons this summer and hopes to be able to check off throwing a rope off of her bucket list.
