What makes a horse famous? Some get their fame from the Race track, the show-jumping ring, Hollywood, or even your own backyard. Today’s episode is all about Famous horses in history! There are a few horses that have even gained their notoriety from being war heroes. These legendary equines have left their mark in history for all of us to remember. Famous Horses – From Hollywood
There are a few horses that have made their mark in history with movies and tv shows from Hollywood. Trigger the famous Palomino owned by Roy Rogers, knew at least 150 trick cues and was even house trained. He was frequent visitor to hospitals to lift the spirits of sick children.
Famous Horses – From the Race track
Race horses often make the famous list or legendary status due to the fact that western culture has made horse racing so much more that just the race. They have become social events around, fancy food and clothing. the most famous race horse is Secretariat. This amazing equine has been named horse of the year twice, and was featured on the cover of Time and Sports illustrated magazine.
