Ground driving is a useful training technique for trail horses and a wonderful way of exercising horses beyond walking with them. It teaches horses the essentials of becoming a good and safe riding horse and is a great preparation for riding and driving. Ground driving your horse outside is a great confidence booster for you and your horse and is a great variation of riding or walking.
