Horse Podcast Ep 225: Horse Nutrition – Feeding Hay

In today’s episode Ute talks with Daniela Vadehra, endurance rider, horse breeder and nutritionist about hay. One of the most basic and universal horse feeds, it is fed to horses almost all over the world and most horse owners don’t think much about it. This is wrong as hay is the basis of horse nutrition and by feeding the right quality and type, we can make a big difference to the health and well-being of our horses. Daniela answers a lot of questions about how much and what kind of hay we should feed to which horse and how we can see at one glance if the quality of the hay is good or not.
