Exodus by Ruth Cox

Almost twenty years ago, a group of strange people met on a beach in Thailand and decided to undertake a journey of a lifetime, crossing Mongolia on horseback. Meeting in Ulan Bator a year later, they soon ran into a couple of difficulties but eventually set out with two horses and a horse cart into the unknown on their very own adventure.

The author writes with a lot of humour about the difficulties of group dynamics, strange and wonderful encounters on the road, meeting wolves and horse thieves and experiencing the country of Gengis Khan in a very unique way.

Our Guests today:

Ruth Cox (Great Britain)
